Home School (Age 9-14): Ice World

Our planet is covered by more water than anything else.  What happens to that water when the temperatures drop? It freezes! We will learn all about the properties of ice and the different ways ice is found in nature. You will even get a chance to venture out on our frozen pond (if ice is thick enough) and play games on the frozen water.
9-14 year olds will use the scientific method to organize and conduct ice experiments. 

For all sessions, registration deadline is 48 hours prior to the class. This is done to allow for ALNC to plan for small group sizes and staffing needs. Please call (608)-216-9370 to inquire about space if trying to register within the 48 hours prior to a program.
