Vacation Day: Knock, Knock?

March 28 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

| $60/child (ALNC members save 10%)

Who’s there?! It’s Pileated, Downy, Red-headed, and Hairy—all the woodpeckers that live near our prairie! What are flickers flicking, and do sapsuckers really suck sap? We will pile on the pileateds, peek at some beaks, and get the downy lowdown as we search for signs of spring and learn about these birds and their feathered friends!

Cost: $60/child for full day (9am-4pm)

Please pack a sack lunch. AM and PM snacks provided.

Additional info:
– Vacation Day programming is designed for ages 5-12. Attendees will be split into groups according to age so material may be adjusted accordingly.
