Update 4/3/17: All Wonder Bugs package options and about half of the individual sessions are full. If you would like to be on a waitlist for the package options please email alncreg@naturenet.com.
At this point we are not doing a wait list for individual sessions. If you would like to attend a specific individual session that is full call (608)-216-9370 the day or week of to see if a spot has opened or come the day of and if someone does not show we can get you in. Thank you!

WONDER BUGS PRESCHOOL CAMPS (AGES 2-3)
Introduce your toddler or preschool age child to a safe and wonderful natural world.  This program is specifically designed for children ages 2-3 and their parent/caregiver.  Each session is offered 5 times/week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday.  Sign up for a package to attend weekly for the whole summer or choose your favorite sessions. Younger siblings under age 2 are welcome to attend at no charge.

All sessions run 9:30-10:45am, include both indoor and outdoor time,
and a small snack.

1. Snakes Alive!
June 12, 13, 14, 15, or 16 (M, T, W, R or F)
Slithering succotash! What’s that in the grass? It’s a reptile with no legs- let it pass. But wait, let us look closer and ponder the creature. We’ll sing, play, explore and have fun with the teacher.

2.  Floppity, Froggity
June 19, 20, 21, 22, or 23 (M, T, W, R or F)
And toad-aly toggity.  Come discover the hopping good news about frogs and toads. There is so much to do and fun to be had. You are sure to have a ribbit-ing time!

3. Bread and Butterflies
June 26, 27, 28, 29, or 30 (M, T, W, R or F)
Creeping caterpillars to fluttering butterflies: metamorphosis is an amazing process. Play, learn and sing while we make you cocoon-wise.

4. Light Up My Life
July 3, 5, 6 or 7 (M, W, R or F); no session Tuesday, July 4
Explore the lives of ladybugs and lightning bugs. Crafts, songs and games about these two bugs will have you shining.

5. Rooty Tooty
July 10, 11, 12, 13 or 14 (M, T, W, R or F)
…feeding duty! Come find out what plants look like underground and why roots are so important. Explore the undersides of plants. You’ll have so much fun you’ll be rooted to the spot!

6. Hop to It
July 17, 18, 19, 20, or 21 (M, T, W, R or F)
What is green, small, hops and makes noise with its legs? A grasshopper! Discover all things grasshopper-y. We’ll move, sing, and learn until you say, let me stop-ery!

7. Wet and Wild
July 24, 25, 26, 27, or 28 (M, T, W, R or F)
Water is nifty and what lives there is cool. Come discover what lives in our pool! Examine pond life and give fishing a whirl. Sing, play, learn and watch the magic unfurl.

8. Flower Power 
July 31, August 1, 2, 3 or 4 (M, T, W, R or F)
Prairie living is the life for me. Pollinated is the way to be.  Come discover the fascinating world of flowering plants and the animals that depend on them.

9. Dragonfly By    
August 7, 8, 9, 10 or 11 (M, T, W, R or F)
What are baby dragonflies called? What do they eat? Come discover the answers to these questions and more. The day is sure to dragonfly by!

10. Antsy Pantsy
August 14, 15, 16, 17 or 18 (M, T, W, R or F)
Ants are amazing. Acquire astounding answers to all ant absurdities. Absorb absolutely awesome antics and accomplish amusing activities!

11. Hide and Seek
August 21, 22, 23, 24 or 25 (M, T, W, R or F)
Learn how to blend in using camouflage to hide from your predators. We’ll sing songs, make crafts and play with puppets. Come find me- if you can!

12. Mudbugs by Another Name
August 28, 29, 30, 31 or Sept 1 (M, T, W, R or F)
Crayfish, crawfish, crawdad, mudbug- no matter what you call them these critters are quite the crustacean. You’ll want more than a pinch of these games and songs! Don’t be rusty. Come catch the fun!
