DESCRIPTION:Join us the evening of Thursday\, September 11\, for the next in our series of public lectures on climate\, energy\, and sustainability! \nNew Energy Economy:  Barriers\, Challenges\, and Opportunities\nby Gary Radloff\, Director of Midwest Energy Policy Analysis\, Wisconsin Energy Institute \nSource: wikipedia.org\nEnergy needs and solutions are changing around the world\, in the U.S.\, and in Wisconsin. How fast and how dynamic the energy transition will occur remains unclear due to policy and economics. This presentation will look at significant trends\, current factoids\, and events of the day in attempt to sort out what the changing energy world means for your daily life. \nPre-registration for the lecture and tour is not required\, but it’s recommended to RSVP below as space is limited. \nThis presentation\, Thursday\, September 11\, 6:00-7:00 PM\, is free and open to the public. It will be followed at 7:00 PM by a guided tour of the Aldo Leopold Nature Center’s Climate Science Education Center\, including a special presentation on Science On a Sphere (admission is free for lecture attendees\, though donations are appreciated!) \n \n  \n
