As always, our grounds and trails featuring self-guided tours are free and open daily from dawn until dusk.

Candlelit Snowshoe Hike

EVENT UPDATE: THIS EVENT HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 17th

Hundreds of softly glowing lights illuminate the trails of Aldo Leopold Nature Center, Edna Taylor Conservancy, and Woodland Park. Join us for a hike and enjoy a roaring bonfire outside the beautiful Aldo Leopold Nature Center.

In partnership with Madison Parks and Monona Parks & Recreation, all ages and abilities are welcome to this FREE snowshoeing event! After snowshoeing, warm up by a roaring fire; and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate, coffee, or tea.

Come one, come all…No pre-registration is required!

This is a FREE event with FREE parking and a FREE shuttle from the Ahuska Park parking lot (400 E. Broadway).

Concessions available on site! Portable and indoor restrooms available.

PARKING: Free shuttle service and free parking at Ahuska Park. Parking, without shuttle service, may be available along Femrite Drive, Roselawn Drive, and Edna Taylor Parkway. Parking map found here.
