SUMMARY:Quarterly Earth Day: Winter Hike & Seed Feeder
DESCRIPTION:Winter is for the birds!\nJoin us on Saturday\, January 25th from 10am to Noon at the Aldo Leopold Nature Center for a winter hike followed by a bird feeder craft. We’ll join the Bird & Nature Adventure scheduled for 10am\, where we’ll hike through the grounds of ALNC into Edna Taylor Conservancy\, exploring evidence of wildlife so abundant this time of year\, nature tracks! Afterwards\, we’ll head indoors to create a natural bird feeder that you can take home to continue your observations of nature there. \nThis family-friendly land stewardship event is geared towards all ages. Spend a cold winter morning outside\, connecting with one another and the land\, and be sure to dress for the weather! \nNo registration required. \n  \nWorking to make Earth Day every day\, this free event is sponsored by MESBA\, the Monona East Side Business Alliance\, and the Aldo Leopold Nature Center. Special thanks to Madison FUN (Friends of Urban Nature Groups)  for leading the hike through ALNC into Edna Taylor Conservancy. \n
