DESCRIPTION:Did you know that Aldo Leopold’s birthday is in January? Let’s celebrate his birthday by doing some of his favorite activities! We will learn how to observe nature and record what is happening outside. Phenology is a term you will get to learn and use to compare what we see outside here at ALNC with what other people are seeing outside. \nCost: $55/child (10% discount for members) \nAdditional info:\n— Vacation Day programming is designed for ages 5-12. Attendees will be split into groups according to age so material may be adjusted accordingly.\n— Please send your child with a sack lunch\, an extra set of clothing\, appropriate clothing to spend the majority of the day outdoors\, and bug spray and/or sunscreen if appropriate.\n— ALNC provides a morning and afternoon snack. \nExtended Day is available from 8:30-9am and 4-5:30pm at an additional cost.
