DESCRIPTION:THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELED FOR MARCH\nFollowing the recommendations of Public Health Madison & Dane County and with great consideration of the health of our community\, the Bird & Nature Outings in March and April have been canceled.  \nThank you for your support and please stay tuned to our homepage for more information on programming as the days unfold. \n  \n\n \nBird and Nature Outings at Edna Taylor Conservation Park\nStarting at Aldo Leopold Nature Center\n4th Saturday of Every Month – 10am to 11:30am \nMeet at Aldo Leopold Nature Center\, 330 Femrite Drive\nPark in the first lot on the right \nJoin a naturalist for an easy\, family-friendly walk from Aldo Leopold Nature Center into the beautiful Edna Taylor Conservation Park and enjoy a bit of nature education along the way. These are free nature outings and no registration is required. Co-sponsored by Madison FUN Friends of Urban Nature partner groups Madison Parks\, Madison Audubon\, and Aldo Leopold Nature Center. DESCRIPTION:THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELED FOR MARCH\nFollowing the recommendations of Public Health Madison & Dane County and with great consideration of the health of our community\, we have canceled the first Land Steward Work Day of the Year on March 28th.  \nThank you for your support and please stay tuned to our homepage for more information on programming as the days unfold. \n  \n\n  \nLand Stewards & Restorationists — We Need YOU! \nInterested in helping restore and maintain ALNC’s prairie\, marsh and woodlands? Join us one Saturday a month\, March through October\, to help control invasive species\, seed with native plants\, get dirty and have some fun! Volunteer work days will focus mainly on land management and other projects as needed. Work days may be cancelled or planned activities modified due to inclement weather. \nHere are just a few Land Steward projects: \n\nCut honeysuckle and other unwanted brush\nMulching\nTrail maintenance\nPull garlic mustard and other invasive species\nTransplant wildflowers\nCollect and label seeds\nGarden work\nPick up litter\n\nJoin us for one of our upcoming volunteer work days! Larger groups — please call ahead. Otherwise\, simply show up and ALNC staff will greet you upon arrival.
