SUMMARY:Land Steward Work Day: Tree Planting Workshop with ECO Tree
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a very special Land Steward Work Day! \nCo-hosted by ECO Tree Company\, this free program is for volunteers of all ages interested in rolling up their sleeves and digging in dirt! Learn about tree installation and maintenance with guidance from an ECO Tree Certified Arborist and get some hands-on experience as we work together to plant native evergreens on nature center grounds. \nPre-registration is not required\, but strongly encouraged. \nRegister Here for May\n  \nVolunteers should meet at 10am outside the West Entry doors\, near the Children’s shack\, for an orientation. Work days typically take place rain or shine\, although they may be modified or cancelled depending on the project and conditions. Basic tools and supplies will be provided. Please bring water bottles and wear work clothes appropriate for the weather. Limited access to facilities for restrooms and water refills will be available. \nThese work projects involve physical tasks geared towards older kids and adults. Younger children are welcome to attend/observe at the discretion of their guardian.
