It was a perfect day for a parade this Saturday in Madison. Just before noon, floats of every shape, size and color began lining up for the parade around Madison’s Capitol Square to celebrate Rotary Club of Madison’s Annual SummerPalooza Celebration.
SummerPalooza was founded last year by Rotary Club of Madison, an Aldo Leopold Nature Center partner, and has already become a hit with local families looking for a fun, downtown way to start the summer. As family activities took place in and around the Madison Children’s Museum, Rotary partners and grant recipients paraded around the square, and the Aldo Leopold Nature Center was onsite snapping photos of the action – click through the slideshow below for more scenes from the day!
