Are you looking for a unique, educational and fun outing for your group? Come visit the Aldo Leopold Nature Center for an exciting custom exhibit tour or outdoor program for an unforgettable experience!

Indoor Tour Options

Explore far away galaxies and nature close to home with a self- or docent-guided exploration of interactive exhibits including:

  • Science On a Sphere: a fascinating six-foot diameter sphere which displays  high-definition images of planets, stars, energy use around the world and more.
  • Global Facts and Our Future Exhibit: a powerful interactive exhibit created by the National Academy of Sciences explaining peer-reviewed scientific facts about our changing planet.
  • Renewable Energy Center: a dynamic digital program which allows visitors to learn about available alternative and efficient energy technology.
  • Nina Leopold Bradley Phenology Center: a combination interactive exhibit and phenology program that tells the story of the Leopold Family and their legacy.
  • Climate Cast brought to you by WKOW- TV 27: a green-screen studio where visitors can give an on-camera weather or climate forecast.
  • Storms 360 Immersion Theater: a high-definition immersion experience that takes visitors through weather and climate systems with special lighting and wind effects.

Group discounts are available for groups of 10 or more with an advance reservation. Docent-guided tours and clipboard tours available only by request (additional fee will apply, subject to staff availability). Visitor Guide brochures and use of outdoor trails are complimentary.
