Our facility is open Monday through Friday, 9am to 4pm, and from 10am to 2pm on weekends.

After-School Nature Club

PROGRAM NEWS:

2025/26 After-School Nature Club registration is now open!

There are no payments due at registration. Initial and monthly payments ($200/month) will be made through a separate platform.

AFTER-SCHOOL NATURE CLUB

After-School Nature Club is a drop-off program appropriate for children in grades K, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. On Monday afternoons, spend some time outside after school.

To use nature as a teaching tool to:

  • Encourage risky play, sparking resilience, igniting creativity, building physical strength, and sharpening social skills
  • Foster a sense of wonder and appreciation for the natural world, leading to admiration and respect for the environment

 
 
 

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

  • Nature Club meets on Mondays from 1:30* to 5pm. *Monday early release dismissal varies by school; ALNC will adjust drop off times as needed.
  • Rolling enrollment! Instead of registering seasonally, Nature Club will have rolling enrollment where families pay monthly. If, at any time, a student would like to un-enroll, email camps@aldoleopoldnaturecenter.org (by the 15th of the month) to make the necessary changes.
  • Monthly Cost: $200/month Limited tuition assistance and payment plans available, please email camps@aldoleopoldnaturecenter.org for eligibility. Wisconsin Shares are also accepted.

GEAR

Students should bring:

  • Backpack.
  • Refillable water bottle.
  • Comfortable shoes that can get wet.
  • Full change of clothes, including layers for all weather and a raincoat as needed.
  • Please label each item clearly with your child’s name.

Students should avoid bringing:

  • Any small trinkets, toys, etc.
  • Anything else easily lost or meant to be shared (Pokemon cards, Legos, etc).

REGISTRATION POLICY

Pre-registration is required as there are a limited number of spots available. If you have a question about bringing a sibling to the program, please send us an email.
