Many, many thanks to everyone who came out for the Candlelight Hike at the Aldo Leopold Nature Center this past weekend! It was a beautiful evening before the temperatures dropped, where families and community members explored the Nature Center grounds at night... including the pond ice.![]()

In partnership with Madison Parks, this free, family-friendly event featured glowing candle lights illuminating the hiking trails of Edna Taylor Conservancy and Aldo Leopold Nature Center for a unique winter adventure. ![]()

After hiking, participants could warm themselves near a winter fire while roasting s'mores. Traveling Tom's Coffee brought the cocoa and coffee, while El Centro Cocina brought the fare. Visitors could also enter a drawing to win a pair of snowshoes, generously donated by Fontana and Play It Again Sports.![]()
