Looking for animal tracks is a great way to engage with nature and discover interesting facts about the animals that left them. Mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates all leave tracks behind that we can find and track. Be patient with yourself as you learn about tracking animals, it’s been said that learning to identify tracks is akin to learning a new language. Ariam is the WisCorps service member assisting us this year. She has been helping the Educators in the Nature Preschool, as well as across our organization, by leading field trips, assisting with programming, and overseeing lunch bunch and aftercare. She even helps with conservation projects on the grounds.![]()

Ariam particularly enjoys reading books and singing songs to and with the children because reading had a great impact on her own childhood. She believes that books can answer difficult questions, bring comfort, and encourage imagination. ![]()
