Play & Learn (PaL) families discovered a turtle kiddie pool filled with rocks, hand nets, and water toys. They had a blast playing with these objects—some float, some sink, and some act as sieves, allowing the water to run through.![]()

The children also learned about the animals that live in our pond, such as invertebrates, reptiles, and amphibians. On the table, they found pictures of aquatic invertebrates, real turtle shells, as well as frog toys and stuffies to help them engage with these critters.![]()

This water activity definitely made a splash as PaL families “jumped” into literacy!![]()
