Seasonal Internships
Diversity in Conservation Internship (Summer 2023)
ALNC is excited to participate in Natural Resources Foundation’s Diversity in Conservation Internship Program, which provides meaningful experiences for undergraduates interested in careers in natural resource conservation. Undergraduates from Lawrence University, UW-Madison, and UW-Milwaukee are eligible to apply. The program encourages applicants from underrepresented groups or disadvantaged backgrounds, and previous conservation or environmental science background or education is not required. The goals of this 10-week cohort-based program are to introduce students to the field of conservation and its career pathways and to help strengthen the knowledge and skills of program participants to meet the need for diverse professionals in Wisconsin’s conservation field. Student interns will each receive a $6000 stipend. To apply or learn more, please click here.
