We are proud to offer the following early childhood programs:

With their caregivers, Baby Bugs engage in outdoor nature play that includes sensory experiences, songs, and plenty of adventure. Every week will be a unique exploration of the natural world. - Wonder Bugs For ages 2-4 with parent/caregiver
Join us (with your child) for our weekly sessions where we’ll use our senses to explore the flora and fauna of the nature center, as well as investigate seasonal changes in the weather and landscape. - Wonder Bugs On the Road For ages birth-3+
Our partnership with MMSD’s Play & Learn brings Wonder Bugs on the road to different sites in Madison. - Nature Beginnings For ages 3-4
This class bridges the gap between family programs (where the child attends a program with a family member) and traditional preschool (where the child is away from family). - Aldo Leopold Nature Preschool For ages 3-5
Our nature preschool provides environments rich in hands-on materials, literature, and open-ended play time, encouraging wonder, discovery, experimentation, invention, and creation. - Pre-K Field Trips For ages 2-4
Tailored to fit your group’s special interests and needs, field trips are hands-on experiences, focused on learning by doing.
