Maggie spent two and half years with us as an Environmental Educator, where she taught many different programs including the OAKS After-School, Field Trips, and Summer Camps. Always playful, she would find fun ways to include a variety of themes and activities into her lesson plans. She particularly enjoyed the Harry Potter-focused summer camp, where the team held a sorting ceremony by hiding a walky-talky inside a hat!![]()

As a colleague, Maggie was carrying, adaptable, and well organized. She would easily switch lessons in order to include children's interests in lesson plans. The team also appreciated her willingness to help others, and that her lesson plan template included color-coded spreadsheets! ![]()

In addition to teaching, Maggie was dedicated to reaching the broader community with her work for Nature Net, southern Wisconsin’s environmental learning network.![]()
