In collaboration with the Ho-Chunk Nation, ALNC is holding space for Waksik Woosga Revitalization classes (Traditional Feast Ceremony classes), to preserve Ho-Chunk ceremonial practices. Offered to native peoples free of charge, the classes teach the language and customs of ceremonial practices. Everyone is welcome to attend and share in this experience.

Taught by Rock Greendeer, the classes will be held 1-2 times per month. Depending on the conditions, the classes will be inside (in LLs 6/7) or outside in the Juniper Field (where a traditional ciiporoke will be built).

For each class, Rock Greendeer commutes from Tomah and the cost of gas is approximately $50 round trip. If you are able to provide support by donating funds for gas, Rock Greendeer and the students of the Waksik Woosga Revitalization classes would greatly appreciate it.

Donate to the class via Venmo
