Our building will reopen to the public at 9am on Tuesday, Jan. 16th.

As always, our grounds and trails featuring self-guided tours are free and open daily from dawn until dusk.
Please exercise caution to remain safe on trails, sidewalks, and driveways, as conditions may be icy.

Our facility is open on weekdays from 9am to 4pm and on weekends from 10am to 2pm.

Environmental Educator (FT/Seasonal)

The Aldo Leopold Nature Center (ALNC) is seeking adaptable, creative, and engaging educators to teach our summer camp programs from June through August. The primary responsibility of this position is the planning and delivery of experiential nature programs for small groups of 4-10 year old campers. Environmental educators are responsible for the physical and emotional well-being of the children in their care and are expected to facilitate a welcoming environment that is safe, inclusive, and fun for all participants. The Aldo Leopold Nature Center is seeking an energetic, outgoing individual to join its team assisting with sustainability-focused events and weddings. Activities focus on assisting couples and their guests on their wedding day, arranging rooms for private events and public programs, and setting up outdoor spaces, among others.
