$200

quietwater-paddles-logo-200-200Note that this workshop has been cancelled – please check back often to see the next workshop and program opportunities!

Join local paddle maker and teacher, Jeff Bach, for a series of sessions to learn to build your own beautiful and functional bent-shaft paddle to take home and out on the water.  Throughout this series, we will spend time laminating, gluing, sanding, applying fiberglass and epoxy and learning basic woodworking skills.  Meeting over a series of days allows time for epoxy and glue to dry.  Each participant will bring home a paddle as well as instructional materials.  For more information about Jeff’s work, visit http://www.quietwaterpaddles.com/

Series meets four times:
1) Thursday, May 21st from 6:30-8:30pm (Monona location)
2) Saturday, May 30th from 10am-1pm (At ALNC Black Earth cabin. Bring a bag lunch or something to cook over the campfire!)
3) Wednesday, June 3rd from 6:30-8:30pm (Monona location)
4) Sunday, June 7th from 1-3pm (Monona location)
