ALNC UPDATES

Our facility will be closed Monday, January 16th in honor of Martin Luther King Jr Day.
We plan to reopen on Tuesday, Jan 17th at 9am.

As always, you’re invited to hike our trails, which are open daily from dawn until dusk.

Welcome! Our facility is open on weekdays from 9am to 4pm and on weekends from 10am to 2pm.

Wearing a face mask indoors is optional. Because we are a childcare facility and follow public health protocols, we have limited access to some public offerings and areas of our facility. We appreciate your patience as we work to find a healthy balance of access and safety for our community.

As always, our grounds and trails featuring self-guided tours are free and open daily from dawn until dusk.

Home School (Ages 9-14): Gobble Gobble

November 29, 2016 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

$10

Calling all Jakes and Jennies—come join us for a very “fowl” afternoon of fun as we celebrate fall by learning all about turkeys.  Learn how (and why) they gobble while practicing your best turkey call, explore the habit and habitats of wild turkeys and how to identify turkey scat, tracks, feathers and more through games, crafts and outdoor explorations!
9-14 Year Olds will expand on wildlife population knowledge gained in last week’s session in addition to the above.

For all sessions, registration deadline is 48 hours prior to the class. This is done to allow for ALNC to plan for small group sizes and staffing needs.  Please call to inquire about space if planning to drop in, but realize that space may not be available if less than 48 hours is given.

$10/child (ALNC Members save 10%)
