Vacation Day: Grow!

$10 – $60It’s Earth Week – let’s get the garden started! We’ll get our hands dirty by planting some cool weather plants into our vegetable garden and getting our phenology garden ready for spring. We’ll also spend time in the greenhouse, learn about vermiculture (worm composting), study the soil and celebrate Earth Week.
Cost: $60/child for full day (9am-4pm)
Please pack a sack lunch. AM and PM snacks provided.
Additional info:
— Vacation Day programming is designed for ages 5-12. Attendees will be split into groups according to age so material may be adjusted accordingly.
— Please send your child with appropriate clothing to spend the majority of the day outdoors and bug spray and/or sunscreen if appropriate.
