Vacation Day: Little Critters

$10 – $55Learning about little critters can be BIG fun! We’ll spend the day learning about mice, voles, moles, shrews, bats and more. Go on a food scavenger hunt, search for signs and scat, find out how they stay warm in winter, dissect an owl pellet to put together a little critter skeleton, and try to observe a little critter up close through live trapping and release.
Cost: $55/child for full day (9am-4pm)
Please pack a sack lunch. AM and PM snacks provided.
Additional info:
— Vacation Day programming is designed for ages 5-12. Attendees will be split into groups according to age so material may be adjusted accordingly.
— Please send your child with appropriate clothing to spend the majority of the day outdoors and bug spray and/or sunscreen if appropriate.
Extended Day is available from 8:30-9am and 4-5:30pm at an additional cost.
