Annually, we reach thousands of families, providing children throughout our diverse community with early exposure to the health and wellness benefits associated with nature-based educational opportunities. Children learn on the land, exploring and discovering Wisconsin’s native ecosystems and wildlife throughout the seasons! These awe-inspiring experiences create core memories that foster a sense of interconnectedness with the natural world, nurturing a desire to practice ecological stewardship for a more sustainable future. Every gift makes an impact:
- $1000 Break Down Barriers. Diverse communities are better, in nature and in society. Support our Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access Initiatives by helping us allocate resources to build meaningful community partnerships and professional development opportunities
- $500 Weeks of Wonder. The more time a child spends engaging with nature, the higher the likelihood they will develop a lifelong relationship with the natural world. Give children more than a week of nature discovery to play!
- $100 Empower Educators. Did you know ALNC subsidizes the coast of field trips and also helps school districts pay bus fees? Grow nature’s reach in our community by ensuring school-aged children get valuable field trip opportunities.
- $75 Engage Explorations. Winter, spring, summer or fall… Sponsor a child’s full day of exploration in the prairie, woodlands, and wetlands in any one of our outdoor, hands-on environmental education programs.
- $50 Outdoor Opportunities. Enable a child to spend an afternoon outside, exploring and learning from the land. Create enjoyable educational experiences for children in our community.
