Vacation Day: Wacky Weather

March 6, 2018 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

$10 – $60

As March begins, weather can be very calm (like a lamb) or it can be strong (like a lion), so it’s the perfect time to delve into learning about Wisconsin’s wacky weather. Join us as we record the daily weather conditions and learn what drives our weather. We’ll model how weather works by making clouds and tornadoes, study and enjoy the wind and sky, and explore the forces behind severe weather, like hurricanes and tsunamis and play some wacky weather games.

Cost: $60/child for full day (9am-4pm)

Please pack a sack lunch. AM and PM snacks provided.

Additional info:
— Vacation Day programming is designed for ages 5-12. Attendees will be split into groups according to age so material may be adjusted accordingly.
— Please send your child with appropriate clothing to spend the majority of the day outdoors and bug spray and/or sunscreen if appropriate.

Extended Day is available from 8:30-9am and 4-5:30pm for an additional cost. Click here to register for Extended Day.
