In this program, we’ll use all our senses to explore air and start you on the path towards earning your AWARE Journey award. Hands-on activities will investigate the concepts of wind speed, sound, cloud types, air pressure and temperature. We’ll head outside to use different weather instruments to predict the tomorrow’s weather and then use green screen technology to create and record our own weather forecast. Finally, we’ll visit our replica of Aldo Leopold’s shack to spend some time reflecting and creating a plan to keep track of how you can help Earth’s air along your journey.
