Our facility will be closed on Thursday, July 4th, and Friday, July 5th in observance of the Fourth of July holiday.
Our building will reopen to the public at 10am on Saturday, July 6th.

As always, our grounds and trails featuring self-guided tours are free and open daily from dawn until dusk.

2024-25 Communications Intern

The Aldo Leopold Nature Center (ALNC) seeks an outgoing, energetic, and adaptable intern to assist our communications team this academic year. The primary function of this internship is to offer you the opportunity to build relationships and communicate events, program information, and impact stories with the public, while learning about environmental education and Southern Wisconsin ecosystems. In this role, you will assist the marketing and communications team on projects related to phenology, outreach, marketing, community engagement, and public events.
