Forgiveness is an important skill to learn. ![]()

In the Nature Preschool, the Cottontails learned about forgiveness as part of their Kindness lesson. Forgiveness was explained to them as “when you are no longer upset, mad, or sad about something the other person did anymore” and you’re ready to let go of anger and hurt.![]()

The Cottontails practiced forgiveness with a group activity. Everyone sat in a circle, holding a spoon. They took turns passing a wooden egg between each other's spoons, making their way across the entire circle. When the egg fell, the Cottontail who dropped it would say “Oops! I'm sorry. I didn't mean it.” and the person they were passing it to would say “I forgive you.”![]()
