FreeBird and Nature Outing at Edna Taylor Conservation Park Area
4th Saturday of Every Month – 10am to 11:30am
This week, join the International Crane Foundation to discuss the importance of crane conservation as you hike from Aldo Leopold Nature Center into Edna Taylor Conservation Park. On your nature hike, hopefully you’ll spot our nesting Sandhill cranes!
Meet at Aldo Leopold Nature Center, 330 Femrite Drive
Park in the first lot on the right, meet at Aldo Leopold Nature Center lobby area
Join a naturalist for an easy, family-friendly walk from Aldo Leopold Nature Center into the beautiful Edna Taylor Conservation Park and enjoy a bit of nature education along the way. There are free nature outings and no registration is required. Co-sponsored by Madison FUN Friends of Urban Nature partner groups Madison Parks, Madison Audubon, and Aldo Leopold Nature Center.
