LIMITED GROUP SIZE: Bird & Nature Outing
February 27, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am
FreeLIMITED GROUP SIZE: GUIDED HIKE FOR THE FIRST TEN PEOPLE
With great consideration of the health of our community and following the recommendations of Public Health Madison & Dane County, the Bird & Nature Outing in February’s capacity has been capped at 10 participants.
If you arrive and capacity has been reached, we invite you to hike our trails, at your own pace, using nature guides to help you identify and learn about the plant and animal species you find. Some of our favorites are iNaturalist, Pl@ntNet and the Cornell Lab of Ornithology.
Our trails are free and open to the public 365 days a year from dawn until dusk and we invite you to use them at your leisure, while also practicing safe social distancing. Getting outside and spending time in nature can boost your immune system, reduce anxiety and release pent up energy.
Thank you for your support and please stay tuned to our homepage for more information on programming as the days unfold.
