ALNC UPDATES

Our facility will be closed on Tuesday, August 29th for a Strategic Planning Meeting for our board and staff.

As always, our grounds and trails featuring self-guided tours are free and open daily from dawn until dusk.

Welcome! Our facility is open on weekdays from 9am to 4pm and on weekends from 10am to 2pm.

Wearing a face mask indoors is optional. Because we are a childcare facility and follow public health protocols, we have limited access to some public offerings and areas of our facility. We appreciate your patience as we work to find a healthy balance of access and safety for our community.

Family Public Program: Wildflower Wander

Bring your mother or another for this easy stroll to see some of Wisconsin’s spectacular spring wildflowers. All are invited to join us on this easy and enjoyable morning stroll.

May is an excellent time to view both early and late spring flowers since their bloom times overlap and our woodland areas are simply spectacular! Learn about some of the ephemeral wildflowers found at ALNC as we celebrate spring!

Moms, families, grandparents, plant lovers – and even dads – are invited to join
us on this easy and enjoyable morning.

ALNC members:  $6/person
Non-members: $10/person
Children 3 and under: Free

Pre-Registration helps us prepare for our programs. Please pre-register if you plan to attend a program. Walk-ins welcome if space is available.

Refunds will only be given to those who cancel 7 or more days before a program. All refunds are subject to a 15% administrative fee.
If Aldo Leopold Nature Center cancels a program, a full refund will be given.
