Our facility will be closed on Thursday, July 4th, and Friday, July 5th in observance of the Fourth of July holiday.
Our building will reopen to the public at 10am on Saturday, July 6th.

As always, our grounds and trails featuring self-guided tours are free and open daily from dawn until dusk.

Girl Scout Program: Camping Adventure (Junior Girl Scouts)

Discover all that can be found in nature with this overnight trip to the Aldo Leopold Nature Center in Black Earth. Sit around the campfire, share stories and watch the stars light up the night sky. We will learn how to identify constellations, take a night hike, listen for the sounds of animals in the night, and feel the cool breeze of the night air. After breakfast (provided), we will learn how to plan for an outdoor adventure and then head into the forest to test your camping skills from building a campfire to leaving no trace.

Shared indoor sleeping space is available. Outdoor tent space available as well. Please note preference on registration form.

Campfire snack and breakfast will be provided.
