Girl Scout Program: Snowshoeing (All ages) PM session

January 18, 2016 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

$8

It’s snowing! Winter is full of so many opportunities to play in the snow, from snow angels to snowmen and snow forts; winter provides us with great activities outside! Join us for an activity that allows us to experience all of winter’s beauty: snowshoeing. We will learn about some of the types of snowshoes that have been used and then strap on our own snowshoes which we will use while we hike the trails. Bring your boots and we will bring the ‘shoes.

Please note: This program is held snow or no snow as we still put on the snow shoes, get a feel for them, and then go on a hike to experience the outdoors in the winter time. Please see our cancelation policy for “pre-scheduled programs” if you are considering not attending if there is no snow.

Time: 1:00pm-3:00pm
