ALNC’S FACILITY REMAINS CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC

Even though our building is closed*, our trails are free and open to the public daily from dawn until dusk.
We invite you to come out and enjoy the Wonders of Nature…it’s good for the mind, body and soul.

ALNC will be opening for limited summer camp programs starting July 6th. Access to the building will be restricted to ALNC Staff and Summer Campers.

We thank you for your patience as we determine the right course of action.

Golden Honey Bee: Session 2 (Daisy Girl Scouts)

Earn your Golden Honey Bee award as we plant a seed in your Daisy Flower Garden at ALNC! We’ll dig in the ground to see what’s crawling around, then meet some worms and learn about composting!  We’ll learn all about bees and do a “pollination dance”, visit with some ladybugs and other insect allies, and learn all about plants and how they grow up.  We’ll even check out our new garden and greenhouse and harvest some vegetables before the winter freeze!

Fee:  $8/scout
