Home School (Age 9-14): What Lies Underneath

February 21, 2017 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

$10

Winter is a time when animals like to burrow underground and sleep, or hibernate, for the winter months. We will dig up some facts about burrowing animals and why they choose to make burrows. Learn about our groundhogs, worms and other animals that love life underground.
9-14 year olds will look at the science and biological systems behind torpor.

For all sessions, registration deadline is 48 hours prior to the class. This is done to allow for ALNC to plan for small group sizes and staffing needs. Please call (608)-216-9370 to inquire about space if trying to register within the 48 hours prior to a program.

$10/child (ALNC Members save 10%)
