Join us for the Monona Memorial Day Parade!
Friends! Share your love of nature and Aldo Leopold Nature Center and as we celebrate Memorial Day and honor all of the Veterans we have lost.
Strut your stuff down Monona Drive, with your favorite animal stuffy, while passing out seed packets and ALNC buttons to the people you walk by.
Bikes, wagons, strollers, trikes, stilts, and other green ways of transportation are all welcome!
Interested in participating? We’ll gather near Monona Grove High School, starting at 9am. We are #27 in the parade line up and will set up near the intersection of Monona Drive and Coldspring Ave, on the high school side. Please wear red, white, and/or blue and bring any flags and noise-makers you’d care to wave.
