Saturday Science: Engaging with Nature through Aldo Leopold’s Legacy

January 22, 2022 @ 9:00 am - 9:45 am

Join us for a virtual field trip in partnership with the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF) and Morgridge Institute for Research as we celebrate the life and legacy of Aldo Leopold.

We’ll start in the Children’s Shack with an introduction to Aldo and then hike through the prairie to the pond, identifying as many animals and their tracks and signs as we can see.

Come one, come all to this free event that you can enjoy from the comfort of your own home.

After the virtual experience, explore more online in the January Saturday Science Portal and explore outside to investigate life in winter all around you.

Register Online

The virtual field trip will be held on Zoom. Information on how to join the session will be sent the day before the event to everyone who registers.

Students, please get permission from a responsible adult before doing these activities.
