Skins, Skulls & Scat

October 22, 2021 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am

Free

Join us at the Monona Public Library for an outdoor, hands-on experience as part of the Wisconsin Science Fest!

We guide this exploration with real animal pelts and skulls, as well as rubber scat. This activity teaches children about the similarities and differences of local animals while promoting critical observation skills. Through further exploration and question prompts, children are also able to make observations about the similarities and differences between animals and people, which helps foster empathy for wildlife and the natural world.

This is an interactive program where children can use their senses to explore and discover native Wisconsin animals.

This event is held outside the Monona Public Library, 1000 Nichols Road.
