Recently, the Wanderers went on a foraging hike!
The walk involved lots of tasting including wild blackberries, mountain mint, and grape vines. The group also took a closer look at cattails and touched the gooey gel between the young leaves. This natural substance has traditionally been used as a soothing topical treatment for minor wounds, burns, and skin irritation.
