Last week, Nature School students participated in make believe animal battles and snowball fights!![]()

As a group, the students filled out their own bracket for March Mammal Madness, an annual event organized by Arizona State University, featuring real animals pinned against each other in simulated battles. As they worked through possible eliminations, the group learned about new species and debated factors like habitat and animal physiology.![]()

Then, the Nature School students ventured outside to enjoy the last snow day (maybe) before spring! Ms. Rowan reminded them of the snowball Code of Conduct: “Make sure to ask your friends if they want to play before throwing any snowballs!” The children did a good job at communicating and split into two groups: the snowball fighters and the freeze tag players.![]()
