Pants-raiser!
Donate your gently-used children’s clothing in support of children’s community-based environmental education the week of November 28th through December 2nd. The items we need most are socks, underwear, pants, and winter boots but we could also use shirts and jackets size 3T to 11-12 years old.

Candlelight Hike
Hundreds of softly glowing lights illuminate the trails of Aldo Leopold Nature Center, Edna Taylor Conservancy and Woodland Park. Join us for a hike and enjoy a roaring bonfire outside the beautiful Aldo Leopold Nature Center. In partnership with Madison Parks and Monona Parks & Recreation, all ages and abilities are welcome to this FREE snowshoeing event! No registration required.

Winter is for the birds! Join us on Saturday, January 25th from 10am to Noon at the Aldo Leopold Nature Center for a winter hike followed by a bird feeder craft. We'll join the Bird & Nature Adventure scheduled for 10am, where we'll hike through the grounds of ALNC into Edna Taylor Conservancy, exploring evidence of wildlife so abundant this time of year, nature tracks! Afterwards, we'll head indoors to create a natural bird feeder that you can take home…

Fall Fest
Fall Fest returns with 'Creatures of the Night', our annual fun-filled night of spooky nature activities in 'not-so-scary' style! With activity stations indoors and out, there is plenty of FREE fall fun for everyone to enjoy. Park your car at Ahuska Park and ride a FREE shuttle to ALNC. Food carts on site.
