On the climbing structure, the children practiced their balancing and communication skills by taking turns climbing all the way to the top and swinging down into the wood chips.![]()

At the picnic table, they explored their emotions through drawing. The first day of school often brings a mix of feelings, and art offers a non-verbal way to process them. Ms. Claudia supported this by helping children add words to their drawings if they wanted to express their thoughts more clearly.![]()
