The Stressed and the Sleepless: How Cortisol Creates Everyday Zombies (and how to end the apocalypse)

Join Chris Barnett of Hoey Apothecary at the Aldo Leopold Nature Center for a workshop exploring the impact of stress on our lives and health.
Cortisol, which is part of your body’s natural response to stress, is important for your health. Stress is unavoidable but also manageable. This workshop will cover how our stress-response system works in a perfect world, how it works in the REAL world, and provide approachable, adoptable tools and techniques to manage stress and improve your wellness.

A photographer may be onsite to document this event. If you would not like your photo taken, please advise the photographer. Thank you!

This event is part of Self-Discovery Weekend, happening February 14-16, organized by MESBA, the Monona East Side Business Alliance.
Join for a weekend of engaging workshops at locations throughout Monona and Madison’s East Side, designed to breathe new life into the slower winter months by exploring new interests, finding paths towards self-betterment, and giving yourself a chance to discover your hidden talents.
