Vacation Day: Apple Science

$10 – $55Apples today keep the no-school blues away! Come join us for a smorgasbord of science featuring a favorite fall fruit. We’ll learn how to use a cider press and make our own cider, explore different types of apples, bake an apple snack, dissect an apple, make apple art and learn about physics and reactions with apple eruptions!
Cost: $55/child (10% discount for members)
Additional info:
— Vacation Day programming is designed for ages 5-12. Attendees will be split into groups according to age so material may be adjusted accordingly.
— Please send your child with a non-refrigerated lunch, an extra set of clothing, appropriate clothing to spend the majority of the day outdoors, and bug spray and/or sunscreen if appropriate.
— ALNC provides a morning and afternoon snack.
