Program Manager: Nature Everywhere Initiative (FT/Grant-Funded)
The purpose of this position is to increase capacity of the Nature Everywhere (NE) initiative, whose goal is to equitably connect children to nature where they live, learn, and play. The work for this position will be phased with the first three-month period focused on compiling existing data and completing required reports to create a NE Plan, and the successive period focused on implementation of the resulting NE Plan. Summer Environmental Educator (FT/Seasonal)
The Aldo Leopold Nature Center is seeking adaptable, creative, and engaging educators to teach our summer camp programs from June through
August! Among other duties, the primary responsibility of this position is the planning and delivery of experiential nature programs for 4-13 year old campers. Environmental educators are responsible for the physical and emotional well-being of the children in their care and are expected to facilitate a welcoming environment that is safe, inclusive, and fun for all participants. Events Assistant (PT/Seasonal)
The Aldo Leopold Nature Center seeks an outgoing, energetic individual to join its team in assisting with sustainability-focused events and weddings. Activities focus on assisting couples and their guests on their wedding day, arranging rooms for private events and public programming, setting up outdoor ceremony spaces, reducing and managing event waste and recycling, providing hospitality and customer service, and helping grow the ALNC community.
