Shorts-raiser!

Children participating in our programs have MANY opportunities for hands-on experiences, and, while discovering the wonders of nature, SOMETIMES they might need a change of clothing while they are here. So, we need plenty of back-up clothing on hand in case someone falls in the mud or in the pond, perhaps gets wet playing in water on a hot day… and then, of course, there’s the occasional accident.
We could use your help!
Donate your gently-used children’s shorts (and socks) in support of children’s community-based environmental education! We’ll be collecting items now through July 2nd in our lobby. The items we need most are shorts (preferably athletic or jersey-knit, sizes 4T to 14-16) and socks. Underwear and t-shirts can also be accepted.
Please bring items to donate to the ALNC lobby. Thank you!
