As always, our grounds and trails featuring self-guided tours are free and open daily from dawn until dusk.

Join Master Naturalist Julie Melton at the Children’s Shack at 10am
We’ll hike from ALNC into Edna Taylor Conservancy, celebrating summer and all that we see, on this easy hike.

Join a naturalist for an easy, family-friendly walk from Aldo Leopold Nature Center into the beautiful Edna Taylor Conservation Park and enjoy a bit of nature education along the way. These are free nature outings and no registration is required. Co-sponsored by Madison FUN Friends of Urban Nature partner groups Madison ParksMadison Audubon, Aldo Leopold Nature Center, and Friends of Edna Taylor Conservation Park.
