This month's theme is Embracing All Families and it’s a topic that comes up frequently as kids learn about each other. Sometimes children have a lot of questions when they engage with families that don’t look like their own. It’s important to have conversations with kids to help address the reality that not all kids experience life in the same way that they do.![]()

This month's activity encourages kids to reflect about what their family looks like. You can do this at home or in the classroom by having children draw a heart and then ask them to write or draw all the people in their lives who love them. ![]()
