Reflecting & Journaling in Nature
February 15 @ 9:00 am - 10:30 am
$20Reflecting & Journaling in Nature
Join Sarah Voss at the Aldo Leopold Nature Center for a morning workshop centered on reflecting and journaling in nature.
The workshop will begin with a hike to orient ourselves with the natural world and discover the Nature Center grounds. We will then break off for some quiet reflection, where participants will be asked to find their own sit spot: noticing, journaling, and meditating in nature.
We will close with some group time, sharing about our experience around a campfire and enjoying tea, steeped with herbs foraged on the grounds.
Participants should dress for the weather, bring a blanket or cushion to sit upon, as well as a journal and something to write with. We will have paper and writing utensils for those who need them.
A photographer may be onsite to document this event. If you would not like your photo taken, please advise the photographer. Thank you!
This event is part of Self-Discovery Weekend, happening February 14-16, organized by MESBA, the Monona East Side Business Alliance.
Join for a weekend of engaging workshops at locations throughout Monona and Madison’s East Side, designed to breathe new life into the slower winter months by exploring new interests, finding paths towards self-betterment, and giving yourself a chance to discover your hidden talents.
